Troy University
Troy University's tradition of teaching excellence dates to
its founding on February 26, 1887, when an act of the Alabama Legislature
established Troy State Normal School as an institution to train teachers for
Alabama's schools. Joseph Macon Dill was the institution's first president. In
1893, the school was renamed Troy State Normal College.
Program Highlights
Troy University is excited to announce a life-changing
study abroad opportunity at the place where dreams come true! TROY is offering
this new program to its international undergraduate students enrolled in Global
Campus. The program will combine paid academic training at the Walt Disney
World Resort with academic coursework as a TROY student.
Program Requirements
To qualify for program admission, students must be able to
demonstrate the following qualifications:
- Successful completion of 1st (freshman) year of
university or higher
- Good academic standing in a University
- Major in tourism, hospitality, business,management,
communication or related field of study, as approved
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Recommendation of home university
